I'm an artist working across still and moving images and text, at times including found materials, painting and collage.
Situated at the intersection of the personal and the political, my practice centres themes of relation, intimacy and connection, often positing imaginaries with a greater-than-human world. I use fragments and slippages to suggest narrative spaces, communities and lived experiences that are allied, fluid and multiplicit ~ a river that flows.
I live, work and create on the sovereign lands and waters of the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation and honour their ongoing care and custodianship of Country. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded, and that the structural violence of, and the resistance against, the colonial State is ongoing.
I pay my respects to Ancestors and Elders, and all First Nations people. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
